Privacy policy
This page describes what happens to personal information on Data Monetization and what rights you have over it. It is written to be read rather than skimmed.
What information is handled
Very little indeed. Nothing on Data Monetization requires you to identify yourself, and reading a page leaves no record with Data Monetization.
A message sent to Data Monetization is held, together with the details you include in it, so that it can be answered.
What information is used for
Information reaches Data Monetization only when you send it, and it is used only for the reason you sent it, which is normally to get an answer. It is never sold and never used to advertise to you.
Who else sees it
Personal information is not passed to anyone else to use for their own purposes. Disclosure would be made where the law requires it, for example on a valid request from a public authority.
Cookies and tracking
Data Monetization sets no cookies of its own and loads no analytics or tracking scripts. There is nothing to consent to and no banner to dismiss.
Records held by the hosting provider
Like every website, Data Monetization is delivered by a hosting provider that keeps routine technical logs, including IP addresses. Those records exist to keep the service running and secure. Data Monetization neither receives nor processes them.
What you can ask for
You have the right to see the personal information Data Monetization holds about you, to have errors corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to it being held. Any of these can be requested with Data Monetization directly, and Data Monetization will answer. The Information Commissioner's Office is the UK regulator, and you can take a complaint there at any point.
How to raise something
Questions about this page, or a request about information held about you, can be raised with Data Monetization directly.
